The Church of the Living God, the Pillar and Ground of the Truth, Inc. was started in the City of Tampa, Florida by Evangelist Mary Lewis-Green who was transferred to the area to "establish a work in Tampa" by Chief Overseer Helen M. Lewis. Along with her husband, the Reverend Raval Green, she established the first (Lewis Dominion) mission there around 1990. Around 1998, she extended the work into the nearby City of Lakeland and continues to complete the work of establishing the work there!
